ABOUT ME

I’m Kevin Ramirez, a Los Angeles-based photographer specializing in political photojournalism and documentary work. I focus on capturing protests, rallies, and unscripted moments that tell authentic stories.

I bring years of experience working in high-stakes environments where timing, organization, and discipline matter most. That background taught me how to anticipate moments, stay calm under pressure, and deliver results on deadline.

Based in Los Angeles and available to travel, I cover assignments across politics, news, and community events. My goal is simple: create clear, accurate images that give context and let the facts speak for themselves.

My Commitment to Ethical Photojournalism

I take the integrity of my work seriously. As a photojournalist, I believe my responsibility is to tell the truth with honesty, accuracy, and respect. Every image I make is created with these principles in mind:

  • Truth over spectacle — I don’t stage or manipulate events for the sake of a photograph.

  • Respect for subjects — I treat people with dignity, especially those in vulnerable situations.

  • Integrity in editing — My images reflect reality; I do not alter content in ways that mislead.

  • Independence and fairness — I avoid conflicts of interest and resist outside influence.

I follow the National Press Photographers Association’s Code of Ethics and hold myself accountable to the same standards that guide professional visual journalists worldwide.
